Ok this is less of data driven knowledge piece and more of a it's great when a customer loves you work. This hotel is planning to increase Group Bookings and it shows that behind the tech there are great people. This was an email from a great hotel partner we love to work with and is increasing their group bookings

So I’ve finally done it!
…no, I haven’t solved world hunger, figured out what Trump uses that keeps him so festively orange, or developed a hot dog bun that keeps you safe from squeezing out a stain-inducing gob of ketchumustarelish (blend of Ketchup, Mustard, Relish).
It took me a few months, but I have the directive that we will be starting Preferred Membership with HotelPlanner, effective like right away.
This directive came from the Regional VP of Sales and we just got out of a meeting with him… a meeting where he literally said, not kidding you…
“Get on HOTELPLANNER NOW.” (emphasis words bolded and italicized to reflect the actual impact of his delivery).
…it was HILARIOUS. He was calm previously and eventually after but he had brought up HotelPlanner prospecting to get to our goals and the DOS chimed in with “We don’t have a Preferred Membership…” invoking his instantaneous and loud response.
My internal self was literally jumping for joy. It’s about time.
Is there anything you can send me to get started? I know it’s all on the website but I felt like bugging you ‘cuz it’s been so long… and that’s on me.
I believe now is the time where I will prostrate myself before you (not prostate), beg for your forgiveness, and plea to be welcomed back into your fold.
I realize it’s not going to be easy-peasey.
I realize I have to build up your trust again.
I realize that this hotel only has a 4.9 for its Group Score.
…it’s going to be a lot of work.
Good thing it’s me that will be managing the entire HotelPlanner account.
…Cuz I’m pretty awesome at this HotelPlanner thing.
I even have a baseball cap to prove it. J
